Matty G is a don as well, first man to make uniquely american dubstep.
yea, carolina peeps need definitely holler at me, i have got the passion and fire to get electronic music as loud as possible in the midsouth!
nathan-kate is the don dj as well and safe guy but is moving to miami soon.
one thing, try stepping outside of the university some...i spend too much time there and apparently some guy who i have never heard of is trying to start a dubstep night right here in asheville. things moving on there own almost!

i dunno about other states in the south but texas seems to have more than the foundation built. theres a lot of support going around, i see nothing but bigger and bigger things.

the dubstep monthly in austin was on wed and it was packed all night with a very enthusiastic crowd.
we're talkin about a small venue but its still exciting

oh man, that is too rough around the edges.
but i think you allude to a good point, paul: dubstep is exceptional music largely because of the people and community from which it is built.

pompende is good to see another carolina brova in the game...what university you go to eh??? asheville ain't that far maybe ill make a trip sometime...yeah i was thinkin' that being just in the university might be a little to focused and close-minded but i dunno...we will see where this stuff goes...

i guess all in all the bottom line is...drum roll and bass line please...we got to keep doin' what we are doing over here, keep pushin' each other creatively...producer keep bangin' out your beats like ya'll know how to do...DJs keep spinnin shit like ya'll know how to(push these producers in this forum they know what they are doin' and where it's at)...keep showin' love for our brovas and sistas across the oceans...and i'm sure they will be doin' the same for us. its people in communities like this forum that are gonna help the movement grow. 10VE all...

we are working our asses off spreading the dubstep sound in indiana, of all places. if it can happen here, it can happen anywhere (although we do have a pretty healthy electronic music scene, so i can't complain).

yeah it gives me more and more hope...i've learned two things in my short lived life...you never know what the next day will bring and if you want something you got to go out and get it...and i am working towards that...
