Subtitle @ Corperation have some pretty decent partys, yeah you'll bump into some big hairy rocker with a beard down stairs but upstairs I've seen it rammed and the drink is cheap as chips.

Yeah man had some great night in there.
Shame its typically full of pretentious scene kids though.

yeah subtitle events tend to be good, corporation is a funny venue too! a lot better than plug anyway, can't stand the place, no vibes at all.
some more deeper vibes would be great tho, dq and ttc making an effort there, anywhere else anyone reccomend?

Ah I love DQ. Seriously had some great times in there. Never been to the Tuesday club, tried to get in once but needed a student card, and I'm not a student.. Is it still the same or you able to get it on certain events?

DQ is probably my favourite club ive been to so far.
corp is cheap but always seem to have some proper wierd crowd and its dead grimey in there.
tuesday club is good considering its a uni night. always seem to get a loada private school gap year kids going for a 'rave'. benji b and ramadanman tore it up coupla weeks back tho annd as far as i know, dont need a student card anymore.
anywhere else decent in sheffield besides plug, which always seems to be proper rammo?
anyone been kabal?

This is the Nottingham Detonate which is also happening Friday. Here is the Sheffield one
http://www.detonate1.co.uk/event.php?eid=38472
It's nowhere near as good, which is standard procedure in Sheffield. DQ does some OK nights (Darkstar and Hyetal last year was particularly good; but theyve also had James Blake this year). In my opinion, Subtitle bookings have been on the decline ever since 20hz pulled out. Seem to get a lot of people like Borgore, Bare noize etc, whereas before they were booking people like Seven, Kromestar, Rob sparx etc. I think an earlier post suggested this jump up scene and i'd agree with that now. Also after speaking to the guys who run TTC, there's going to be some more ''interesting'' bookings in the following months so watch out for them

there are alotta free partys around sheffield as well.. i'm sure if you keep your ear to the ground you'll get to know!
