i have been eating out in la / minneapolis for the past 10 days. and i can assure you that the portions in america most definitely dwarf british.

and fyi, i said it was healthier than most fast food.

don't even get me started on the sandwich triangles, kebabs, sarnies, fried chicken box takeaways, etc etc etc. its a bit rich when people from the UK have a go at US food, when you've got just as big a food problem as we do. especially when you consider the fact that 23% of 65million people in your country are obese, versus 31% of 310million in the US.
