that may be true in the context of Jamaican Reggae soundsystems, but I think it is used for other things as well now, in the same way that MC doesn't always mean "Master of Ceremonies" nowalphacat wrote:Exactly. In the excellent movie "Rockers" there is a scene where Horsemouth is called "bwoy" by a guy, so Dirty Harry steps up and tells the guy (aggressively) not to call him "bwoy" ... felt like an insult ...
