always nice to leave in that range for rigs capable of hitting you in the chest with that moving airgrooki wrote:sowho rolls off below 30 hz and who doesn't? I've never bothered. Is this a problem?
That's what my thinking was... but is there headroom down there? why would you roll off below 30 hz or whatever?deadly habit wrote:always nice to leave in that range for rigs capable of hitting you in the chest with that moving airgrooki wrote:sowho rolls off below 30 hz and who doesn't? Sub bass is part of the whole sound of your track and whilst you cant hear it theres energy down there - energy thats connected with the rest of the sonic spectrumgrooki wrote:That's what my thinking was... but is there headroom down there? why would you roll off below 30 hz or whatever?deadly habit wrote:always nice to leave in that range for rigs capable of hitting you in the chest with that moving airgrooki wrote:sowho rolls off below 30 hz and who doesn't? if you dont cut it that energy effects the overall power of the tune - when you remove the super low you make room for the rest of the track and like magic the whole tune performs better
IF you cut your tracks will perform better when played out
