Yous would like ryuichi sakamoto's mix on Mary Anne's radio 1 show from last week. The whole show had no beats! I don't know much about ambient music beyond boards of canada and some of aphex twin's stuff but this mix was just sublime

I gotta get in on this as I'm slowly trying to rearchive all the ambient mixes I've done over the years..

Sorry for the very blatant self advertising... But saw this thread and thought it an opportunity to capitalise on the Type lovage... My band's album forthcoming on Type hopefully at the end of this year... Very ambient sounding and any of you into that Type sound might be into it... Also definately check out the Julien Neto, Deaf Center and Svarte Greiner releases on Type. Those 3 albums are possibly my favourite 3 releases on the label and I can't reccomend them highly enough.

White lake by Deaf Center is ridiculous.

Its got beats on it - however - as far as ambient goes - this is it for me
