Yeah you can make dubstep on reason, but it depends what kinda computer you have (mac or PC?) For starting out i can recommend using Fruity loops or reason (i prefer reason to start out with) then once you got the basics by the balls you can step up to the more complex DAWs (digital audio workstation, ie the software you make beats on) like Cubase or Logic (on a mac).

A word of warning though, it takes years and years off your life this music making bollox!
Trust me. It doesn't happen overnight!
