I'm probably showing my age by admitting it, but yes: that was a real ad campaign that ol' Lando Calrissian did back in the early 80's I think it was. He took a lot of flack from both the black community and womens' rights groups for it too.

for future reference, would dubstep influenced genres be allowed? Like the post dubstep thing going on?

Most of the entries in the previous competition were a lot of 2-step/Garage influenced tracks; as long as it is within the genre and not House/Minimal/Trip-Hop/ etc.

TRACKS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL MARCH 4TH, MIDNIGHT (PST)
So..i'm on GMT(+1), if i'm correct you want the tracks before 4 pm (16:00) on thursday in GMT???
Still working on it to try and make it on time, don't want to miss it on a time difference. If you could stretch the limit to midnight GMT that would be even better, so i could do some things after work on thursday.

No, anything goes - we've had submissions that were house, electro, glitch, etc. in previous contests.
A good song is a good song is a good song. Categories are meaningless.
Now everybody STFU and go finish your tunes so I will be entertained!
