Couple of years back got an old school mini casiotone keyboard from a flea market for a princely pound coin,8 bit bargain .

got 10 double chocolate chip cookies today for a pound. buy one get one free on those packs of 5 at Sainsburys - best lunch ever.

iirc the lease on the guinness brewery in dublin was bought for a pound and is a thousand year lease... doh!

best thing i have bought for a quid is probably carl zeiss lense from a charity shop - worth around £500 i bet.

but didn't they sell woolworths for £1? of course it was plagued with debts etc. but £1!!!!
