yup, toasty kills it. S+D, elemental, Emalkay and protocol x got the dread up their sleeves. Burial for his originality. Of course Loefah aswell. Too many sickheads to mention......

Always had love for Toasty's beats and he knows it too!!
Loe's sound is proper sick too.Wish he'd remix life dub..
Every now and again somebody new pops up doing something just a bit different. That what I love bout ze dubstep..Always evolving..I've been outta the game for about a year and the sound has changed so much it's mental!!

Benga isn't too bad either...love listening to the deep deep bass on Crunked Up about half way thru the tune.

Benga's my favourite for mixdowns, everything is eq'd and effected right.

Loefah has got the most solid deep subs ever known to man.

Toasty's mixes are crisp

Mala mixes are dynamic and properly balanced.

Skream always get the right mix for the tune.

I know its cheating but Don't ask by Various Production is excellent, the whole album is excellent but that track is amazing.

I think Distance - Traffic is one hell of a track that distorted bass is something to behold

Shackletons tracks are amazing, I think the effort put into the tracks really shows through

Vex'd is also fantastic

For pure dubstep - Mala comes with the ideas, Distance kills it with the production.

Boxcutter's my favourite producer though.

kode9 - 9 samurai

skream - kut-off (everything comes together perfectly; the flute, vocals, drums and bass) on a couple tracklistings it called colourful?

plastician - japan (i swear this samples hero or house of flying daggers? his track vio-lence i like just as much too)

distance - fallen (the vocals are crazy)

dmz - antiwar dub

pinch - qwawwali vip (the moving bassline is something else)

don leisure - white rino (i dont even think the track is finished yet, but when i first heard it it was an instant classic)

as close to a top few as i can think of for now, but theres too much i love thats not there, like cuts from the burial album etc.

Boxcutter and Elemental both put out really nuanced tunes, their mixes are very very clear.

Toasty's production is uniformly excellent.

Loefah on bass, there's no comparison to my ears.

Shackleton - Blood on My Hands - the production is so deep, the percussion so fresh that its a whole new experience every time you throw it on the deck.

also:
Mala - Bury the Boy
Timeblind - Ontological Ground of Being
Elemental
