It's good for using on beats and resampling, has a unique sound to it. Needs a good bit of compressing if the resonance is up (like most pad and filtered beat sorta sounds)
But ubhik is a good all-rounder with nice phaser, chorus and grain unit aswell.

Are you looking for free VSTs? I don't really look into actual VST bundles myself. As far as high quality VSTs you have to pay for I really like Rob Papen's VSTs. Albino, Predator and Blue are all great vsts. Native Instruments has a lot of good VSTs especially Massive. It's great for dubstep but it's also very good for creating effects and even beats. I've made some really nice glitchy breaks with massive and it's relatively easy to do once you understand the instrument more.

If you want bundles, you need to be careful of the bundles you are buying. Native Instruments offers a bundle that a lot of people are saying is to much all at once. I didn't know that was really an issue but apparently NI is extremely overwhelming with their VSTi's. You'd probably spend most of your time just trying to learn each VSTi before you even realize which one is your favorite and you should have been working with that one the entire time and now you are behind the game. Before you really decide on a bundle to purchase, I would go through and find out exactly what you are getting and then see if they have demo versions of each one. You might find out that out of the entire bundle you only really like 1 or 2 of the instruments which you could have just picked up each one for 50 bucks instead of shelling out 400 for the bundle.

They are free and they are actually pretty fun to play with. I haven't really used them in anything but I do enjoy loading them up and messing around with them to see what I can come up with. They aren't extremely flexible VSTs but if you're looking for dubstep sound that is exactly what they were made to produce.
