The om unit track is good so is love triumphant and garage gt but this tempo is pretty annoying, just sounds too slow to my ears only theo can make it sound right, and this whole funk thing that a bunch of wonky producers are doing im not a fan of at all. sorry for ranting

theo's argument is that house was never supposed to be faster than 118 bpm in any case, he's never made a track faster than abou 116 ish.
if you look at the sleeves of stuff like "baby wants to ride" their all super slow, like 115.

yeah i recently bought a bunch of the sound signature back catalogue but didnt really know what to do with it cause most of the songs barely reach 120 . but even so love triumphant is around 105bpm? he makes it sounds faster though. i dont know its basically hip hop at that tempo where you want to nod your head rather than dance. but it just sounds really awkward to my ears
like this, i dont have it so i dont know if it it would work pitched up, but it just sounds too slow (sorry dilla fans)
edit: saying that though the andres album manages to pull this off perfectly, but he produced both house and hip hop seperately for a while before he kind of did those combination beats in his album so its to be expected
edit 2: ive kind of veered off topic but im just wondering what kind of potential that bpm range has got

you need to hear that shit bumpin out of a big system at 3am brother!
I love this . Its tunes are very melodious. It is crash-craze for youth. Also the lyrics are wonderful and clear. The theme and background music give a very enthusiastic effect of joy.
