Apparently he makes around 50 odd tunes in the same style with the same sound palette. That's why everyone thinks he just makes the same tune over and over again. He has tons of different stuff that doesn't get played.

Yeah think I read that in the fader interview. I wish I could produce like that but I would like people to hear my other shit at some point as well. No disrespect to Zomby, I love his stuff but dude needs to come with the goods.

Not as great as his other stuff. Can't wait for his new releases on Thriller and NonPlus+ tho!

i always thought zomby was a prime example of how the most creative people can limit themselves to a small sound palette and do fantastic stuff with it.
like personally i wasn't overly concerned about arcade-style squarewave arpeggios until all those zomby records came out getting better and better.
