So uhm, this is the jealousy speaking I assume. That track is dope IMO. Maybe I have bad taste or whatever, who cares. I know what I like. I heard that in some mixes and that track stood out to me. Of course haters will be haters, but I really don't see what's wrong with it at all.

If only dubstep would become mainstream. Imagine the brilliance, no more rubbish by benga, skream, joker, dmz etc. Just purely crap samples from good songs with an out of sync beat and no rhythm.
Imagine the first CheekyGirlStep tune, oh the charts would be alive with the sound of yet another underground genres carcass.
But seriously how can you even say it's good? Are you serious? Take a long look in the mirror and tell yourself you're serious. It's one of those things that isn't even an opinion. If you saw a band that were completely out of time, out of tune and their songs were blander than jeremy clarkson's haircut, you wouldn't pay the slightest bit of attention. Also I've never heard worse mixdowns in my life and where the fuck did the bass go?
Another point is, how does he/they/demonspawn manage to make those tracks so out of time. It's impossible for me to do that as I have a grid in front of me.

I would like the masses to make me some eggs tomorrow morning, and to fix this tax problem, and to accelerate this real estate deal, and find an attorney to handle the accident, and for fuck sakes to figure out what the fuck is going on w/ Direct Tv's billing practices, and to fix the car after it was stolen, and get the car's registration current, and to revamp my resume, and to get those keys made. Could the masses handle that by noon?

but, y'know, live and let live. the music scene is full of people making pure money with 2nd rate tunes, simply because of being unbelievable hustlers. learn what you can from them - in this case, how to get millions of plays of tracks that aren't very good

The mainstream wants what they're given and what is promoted well enough for them to sense the hype. I bet there's been so many tracks that you could admit to hating when you first heard it and then because it was everywhere it 'grew on you'. The only difference between good underground music and good mainstream music is the marketing.
Personally I reckon you should avoid coming on the forum 'drunk' chatting shit... A large percentage of this forum is made up of key pioneers, successful producers in the making as well as up and coming artists who are working stupidly hard to become more successful. Don't assume everybody using the forum doesn't know fuck all, a lot of people use it as a key marketing tool (of which it's a very good one, being a big community full of a target audience specific to their craft). You don't know shit, you're a mug, don't act like you know what you're talking about when the people you're saying it to study it for a living.
