It causes some issues with my bosses sometimes but *shrug* I'm still better at doing what I do than the other people I work with. "Act like a grown up" and "Grow up!" are such silly phrases that mean absolutely nothing. It's such a stupid assumption that the process of growing older should go hand-in-hand with life being less enjoyable and more serious. The only thing growing older should do is give you more experience to fall back on so you do things sensibly rather than make a numpty of yourself. Unfortunately, most "grown up" people don't seem to care to apply this experience to do better. Which goes a long way to explaining why the world is in its current state.
Kay's right.

And yes, I should've come to dmz last night. :x

I don't think "growing up" is about getting more "serious". But there definitely comes more responsibility. When you are a teenager and live with your parents there are a lot of things you don't need to take care of or think about. When you move on your own you suddenly find yourself having to deal with these - it takes time, and money, and forms to fill, and phone calls, and dealing with "grown up" idiots. Argh.

Growing up is the bollocks, blazing zoots in your own gaff, taking the piss with the sub, meeting challenges, getting wiser. It's all good mate, don't fight it.
