Loads of producers get pushed into djing like that... he took the easy route, trying to please people n build his name. Hard gettin out here just producin, they wanna see you in a club...

But seriously... I still find the whole thing, FUCKING HILARIOUS.

Wish I knew where too see the footage.

wouldnt really call him a tnuc for what happened/ theres a pretty decent explanation. But anyway, people need to move on :D

There's never an explanation for being a fucking fraud behind the decks

it wasn't his first time either. The reason he got shit on so hard is he tried to pass it off like it wasn't a big deal.

I can't sing so I don't take gigs where I am asked to sing. I can't play the violin so I don't take bookings to play the violin. If you can't DJ then don't take bookings to fucking DJ.... and if for some reason you get busted man up to the situation and leave the excuses at home. If he would have said "my djing skills aren't up to the status of my producing skills, I'm working on it, in the meantime I wanted to give the crowd a danceable experience" everyone would have left it at that.

Sorry, not actually into dnb/dnb drama, even though it's one of the most hilarious things I have ever conceived when die-hard jump-up supporters script radio plays with actual mock-neurofunk tracks to demonstrate how lame they think the dnb apart from jump-up is :) , but when I saw that quote...

edit:^ If anyone knows what I'm talking about please thrown me a link :6: Also, I just listened to "Dare" and it sounds like absolutely normal, early noughties pop-music?

the best part of that whole drama was at the time when people like Doc Scott, Teebee, Rider, etc all took their turns shitting on Mista. Was great to hear the old folks chime in on how fraudulent prancing around behind the decks in a patterned hoodie is

it's not as widely accepted in the dnb realm.

You're actually expected to know how to dj in drum and bass. Especially if you're putting out records
