KRS-One's lyrics are corny as shit, but his flow is so much better than usual (he's a pretty bad rapper overall, way too stuck in the '80s when what he did was actually impressive compared to his peers, but he hasn't advanced at all since then. Very typical of rappers), probably because he had to compete with heads like Xzibit (criminally underrated in his prime), Chino, Pharoahe Monch and so on.

As for Eminem, the brilliance in his rapping is actually pretty subtle. The way he intertwines the rhyme schemes with actual meaning in the lyrics is exceptional. Not a good songwriter at all, but as far as getting lyrical goes, he's great.

Eminem in his prime could shut down pretty much any of your favourite emcees. Wordsworth, Craig G, and a COUPLE of other battle emcees can hold a torch to Eminem when he was hot.

Shame he's doing what he's doing now. Rolling on fucking twenties tho.

he has done some amazing tracks, even the shit ones his flow is tight. sick freestyler but now just playing the game to the fullest, drug ballad is a classic IMO.

As for eminem he has lost his way but at his high point he could definitely stand up to the best of them.
