wow, great thread narcissus. thanks for the read and I think you're largely spot on. defining tunes typically come from some manifestation of, or relation to, something beautiful -- even if the relation to something beautiful is the yearning for it. great points and this helps point me in the right direction for writing tunes.

so damn had quite a night w/ lucy, dubstep, and plenty of good people... and witnessing a girl fall head over heels in love with me.. it's fuckin intense.. powerful.. i've got so many damn songs in me now, i can barely keep the music inside.
