Has anyone set up a bracket competition for DSF/SNH? Could be a lot of fun. I have one going at work through soccernet.com:

I think McDonald's has a good one too. Maybe if no one's done it I'll get one started.

this. if i remember right they didnt even qualify for the last euro cup.. and last world cup beckham was the guy that made everything happen hes not here now. but its funny how bad they are considering the amount of good players in the squad. you know the expression "greater than the sum of its parts" well the opposite of that applies with the england team
ill be supporting brazil/argentina/portugal aka the only teams who arent boring to watch

Brazil are going to disappoint you in these stakes. The Samba Boys are dead... they're like Italy in Yellow at the moment by the sounds of it.

could be a blessing in disguise, Ferdinand hasn't performed lately and you can't really drop your captain

Ferdinand's out.

England captain Rio Ferdinand has been ruled out of the World Cup after suffering a knee injury in training.
The 31-year-old centre-back had a scan after hurting his left knee following a challenge with Emile Heskey during Friday's first training session.
He emerged from hospital on crutches and Tottenham's Michael Dawson, who had been put on standby, is expected to fly to South Africa in the next 12 hours.
Vice-captain Steven Gerrard will step up to lead the side at the World Cup.

Since Togo isn't in it, I couldn't care less.
