i dont have any support for gnome's theory, but i must admit that when i first saw this in a blog awhile ago, it did strike me as fake when i first watched it, due to how quickly the brown-ness spreads, but the each time i watch it, it does seem to get more real...
context would help this though... otherwise, why would people/anyone just film people calmly sitting in a hot tub?
