Sunday - ears not ringing but residual bass booming with insistent fictional beats that made any percussive sounds appear to be perfek d-step FX and-d-d-d-d always on the right beat! Live and for one day only my brain remixes my surroundings's sonic signatures - free and undownloadable!
THAT is aftermath.
The cause? Pure "electrochemical stimulation" at The Exodus rave. Gotta agree totally with those who felt the same rave vibe...it was wall2wall rebel music and the only icing I could wish for on the pudding would've been for it to be outdoors in the hills. Of a warm night though...
Blown away by the music quality this time - tunes were tuneful and flowed brilliantly, the set order was right and the bass just WAS!
Largeness to all musicians and all crew for making it happen. No distinctions here (got 'em in my head, but…), it wouldn't be fair given the completeness and unity of the nite. Call to all Manchesterside massive especially OhanaSoundSystem's James & Dibbs, Nik and Colin (ooh - that's me!) for being right on it and, with J-Don and Kat who'd been d&bing it out back, for allowing me to annoy the neighbours w/dawnistic dubstep back at mine after vanning back over the Pennines.
Peace to all.
Even if you didn't make it…you're forgiven…

you know what, that's a great idea. Serious. Last night I dreamed I was talking to people and couldn't hear anyone. It's time to take proper earplug action.

This was massive.
The bass was just stupid.
Some of the bits that pinch played were utterly tremendous. Mad technoey mashups. Really enjoyed everyones sets though. Youngsta was on fire as well!
Glad that Ntype, Pinch and Distance are heading north in the near future!
Nice one Mr Eliminator, you were 'enjoying' yourself more than most.
Good to see you Mr Sparrow, always a pleasure. Cheers for taking care of the homeboy!
Nice one to others I spoke to (well, briefly shouted at), faces to names and that!

Out to the Leeds crew, was another amazin night and an intense experience. Everyone smacked it, yunx was sick. I've heard distance play better sets but the sheer weight made up for any shortcomins of the selection. Mala was the highlight for me, he never fails to get me vibin in a way i never experienced before findin this music. bury the bwoy was.. jus..
Lean Fwd, tune of the night, "whos ready for the bless!!", man i was a million miles away for the second drop. And whatever the tune mala dropped after that, well as poax said... "elsewhere... we take you elsewhere" no fuckin shit mate! insane sounds. was hyped to hear goth-trad on a big rig for the first time too. Cut end is toooo much.
large up all crew, keep it movin

This was good.
Yunx is sick in the head, starting with descent was a masterstroke, crunked up sounds heavy on that system.
But seriously- Boiler suit, fuck me
Mala was nice mix of upbeatness and deepness, new bits sounded big, need to hear them less drunk though to absorb em.
At the bar for most of N-Type
Distance- set of the night easily, nightvision is too much. got a bit enthusiastic
right at the front for this set, sorry bruv!
heny g-g-g-g-gansta- left 1/2way thru but played bare tunes I hadnt heard- anti social runnin it.
Safe to those I said wassup to, grand, grandmaster cas, poaxatron, deapoh, ufo.
10th March.

This was intense.
Knew i was in for a heavy night when i took my phone out about ten minutes after getting in and couldnt read the screen because my eyeballs were vibrating so much. Iration is a killer rig!
Next time ill be trying to do things in moderation, sorry for falling on you deapoh!
All the sets were big, but the one for me was pinch, good to hear some detroit styles creeping in there, totall next level bizz.
Thanks to all the nice crims of leeds for not stealing my car, even though id left it lying unlocked out side the west indian centre
Did you stay till the end grav? I got red carded by sparrow for my drunkenness
Big love to all sparrow fam for the proper yorkshire hospitality.
Nice one to simon for organising the whole thing, i thought my raving days were over, now i cant wait for the next one, well worth the drive down.
