mcs are an integral part of the culture. a bad mc is annoying, so is a bad dj, but i've rarely heard a bad mc on rinse.

keep youre hair on mate. they way you said it made it look like you thought the ONE purpose mcs have is just to stop ppl rippin tunes... it definatley helps prevent it though...

MCs can be ok sometimes but i wasnt too keen on Killa P MCing on Soap Dodgers set on Get Darkre #59. Killa P is sick but was a bit too much and MCed over other singing thats just stupid

haha really? my mates have, they've had sets at audio, digital, Jam, eastslope bar and done plenty of houseparties with rips (im sure it happens at all sorts of places all over the country). Im not saying the big names do it. not at all, thats the whole point. They wouldnt need to cos they'd have legit access to exclusive tracks whereas my mate (pretty much small fry) just ripped (youtube and or myspace) unreleased tracks and play it off their cdjs. Dunno why its so unbelievable? lol upto you to accept it or not, im not overly bothered man
