Why is WAV bad?

Would I have to prove the tunes mine? and whats the legal side of it?
Obviously I would not be doing this to sell anything, just so I could have 1 copy of that rare piece of wax I couldnt get elsewhere?
Well I'm guessing the tune you want to get pressed isn't a WAV?

Nows the bit where you tell me im a n00b and it needs to be in WAV for them to press it.. :?
In which case im assuming converting them back to WAV isnt the best option?

What? I was assuming that you didn't have the Wav for the tune you want to get pressed to vinyl and just bought it as a 320..

Well Dubstudio will cut you a vinyl dub, other places will too, alternatively you could get an acetate cut at places such as Transition (better quality audio but degrades as you play it)

If the track was given out for free it's probably best to ask the artist if it's ok (It usually will be - it's just polite).

If it's a paid for track it still might be courteous to ask the label or artist aswell.

But really it should be fine!

Cutting from a 320 is possible, cutting from a WAV is much preferred.

AND DO NOT CONVERT IT BACK TO WAV.

Ok.. I think I got it..
So it can be done cool..
But WAV is best? And dont convert back from MP3 2 WAV..
and ask first, cool!
I only ask as theres 1 tune I have in mind that was never pressed as vinyl, well never pressed for the everyday DJ.. And this was the only way I thought of being able to get it on vinyl..
Long as the quility aint rubbish I couldnt careless I just want in on wax..

Thanks all..
