hahah, we'll get a reply soon enough I reckon, would certainly be the most 'controversial' release of 2010deadly habit wrote:http://www.dogsonacid.com/showthread.ph ... did=679703
I like that Brookes Brothers album that was supposed to be released like 2 years ago, wasn't it? Septemberdeadly habit wrote:http://www.dogsonacid.com/showthread.ph ... did=679703

most people really wrote: buying stuff on vinyl helps me maintain quality control as a dj, since each tune is so expensive. only retards think it works the other way around. bare bad vinyl in the world. ez

Oh dear...
fair point, hate people dissing massive though, reso, subfocus, skream use it.. i use it its brilliant if you know how to use and know what you're doing..vulvavibration wrote:actually - this is not hating, just pragmatism - i and many other producers should feel offended.
tehre is SO much good & heavy stuff out there - tracks of young & unknown producers that would deserve 10x more a release. just thinking of boxmouse, irrelevant, apathesis, Svpreme Fiend.... the list is uncompletable.
i feel sorry for the music industry and for producers spending time & energy on their music instead of complete wank on NI massive.
He's a nice bloke as well. I've got plenty respect for him, he's come from a town like mine where nothing happens, found a sound that works and run with it. At the end of the day, he's bringing in the cheese, if you don't like it, don't listen. Same goes for Mt Eden to an extent, but Jakwob's got about 1000x better production.joeki wrote:I have to say though, that Jakwob does perform an adequate DJ set to my big surprise.
He actually played some classic stuff when I saw him and kept the hidious remixes to an almost acceptable minimum.

massive isn't bad at all. sorry for the unclear statement. should have made clear that i meant just in relation with mt. eden.Widowmaker wrote:fair point, hate people dissing massive though, reso, subfocus, skream use it.. i use it its brilliant if you know how to use and know what you're doing..vulvavibration wrote:actually - this is not hating, just pragmatism - i and many other producers should feel offended.

Although listening to the clips the Mt. Eden remix sounds ever so slightly better to me than the Jakwob one...
