came from a mix of my surname and what i was doin at the time!

People used to call me DJ N or DJ Newton wen i was at school! Bare people jus called me N and still do.

In the Jungle days and wen i first started pirate radio i needed an alias so i wouldnt hot myself up! Didnt fancy DTI come knocking! It was all part of the DJ thing. People used to say i come with a different flex something new. a new type! weather this was my selection, attitude or da way i play i dont know.

thats how N-type came about.

it sounds a bit like da name of that sick game back in the day on nintendo.

Some of my mates from the football club down the road were like...
