Just won Best Actor (Steve Buscemi) and Best Drama at the Golden Globes...well deserved. This show is amazing. I haven't been so happy over a show since the first season of Dexter and Breaking Bad.

Am up to episode 3 at the moment, amazing stuff. Buscemi smashes it.
And much as I love The Wire, McNulty needs a slap for being a smug tnuc the whole time.

Then why wait for it to come out on DVD, download / stream it off the net if you don't have Sky? They don't tend to release things like this on DVD / BR until they've milked it dry and sold it all over the world, that way they can charge top dollar!

Jimmy's haircut pisses me off. The part with the injured marksman guy is wicked. Don't know if he continues to appear in the series.
I still can't beleive Tommy from Snatch plays Al Capone so well.

You can hear his scouse accent now and again, Al Capone was a scouser

yea as Firky says, DVD's are pointless these days

He will play a central role in season 2 apparently

If you're not up for torrenting, TV.Links.eu is a good place for streaming links.

I did that mistake with the first three series of the wire..... then I had nothing left to watch until now, some three years later
