I like the kick kick-snare-kick-snare combo. I use kick on the 2.75 and snare on the 3rd too much though. Gives a track aggression I feel.

couldnt agree more, this whole album just gives me an odd but complete feeling, too hard to explain haha!
cant believe i only discovered it a couple of months ago...wish i discovered the scene earlier :|
