Sort of ridiculous to use this as a news story though. I'm pretty sure 40 000 Big Mac combos will fuck you up as well but that doesn't mean having a burger once in a while will leave you permantently fucked.

Yeah no telling how much of the damage is due to the rogue chemicals in random pills. There's been a steady decline in quality pills the last 15 years or so. More and more chemicals are sold as ecstasy when they contain little or no actual MDMA. They don't mention that though it's probably the most important factor.

poor bastard. It did say he quit 7 years ago or something didnt it? There were still tons of proper pills around back then, the most horrible, brain melting substance in his beans was probably mdma, maybe with a little speed just to keep you wired enough to have to say awake through every minute of the sketchy comedown you get from that combination.
But yeah, if I were still the sort of person who was partial to mdma Id be getting it pure rather than in pills, dunno what the deal is over the last few years but at one stage it all just turned to bzp or whatever that horrible shit is called. It was bad enough when they were 60/70mgs of mdma with a splash of speed just to ruin any comfort and ease you might have felt. I wouldn't discount the hammering your brain takes from mdma though, out of all the stupid drugs Ive taken over the years Id rate ecstacy as one of, if not THE most mentally destructive chemical Ive experienced. Every now and then is fine but bosh that shit too much and youre asking for trouble.
Shame really because the first time I went to a rave and took a pill was one of the best nights of my life, as was the second, and the third, and the forth...
