From watching that Skream and Goldie documentary that (I know is old as now) but was posted the other day. Iv came to the conclusion that Goldie is a proper Dick!

The g man and metalheadz earnt their stripes while most people in dubstep were buying tape packs and using fake id to get into raves. Goldies a charicter and prone to the odd rant or two but hes done a lot for uk dance music and hes an honest guy, we all rant bs from time to time, you can't hate the man for being an old raver whos done too many beans in his day and been left with a short fuse.

That said, you turn up to a soundclash with caspa and andy c, or play your oppositions tunes you're asking to be taken down a peg or two. The day metalheadz turn up to a soundclash and represent the sound of their label and the artists that release on it in soem fasion they can get cocky, while theyre selling out their sound and buying in help from outside Im glad someones putting them in their place, they need told. Dropping the ball in their old age, double whammy with the strictly too

so true. You got artists like Phil Source, Kryptic Minds, Commix etc, classic Metalheadz artists out there reppin the drum n bass and dubstep big time, while Goldies raggin on people for making 'party tunes' instead of deep material in interviews, then soundclash comes along and he books Andy C... And what does Andy drop first when he gets on the decks? A Kryptic Minds tune lol. I guess, you know, Andy doesnt get out much these days and he doesnt get payed as much as those other boys for sets, so maybe Goldie was taking pitty on him and hes a relitivly small dj compared to Phil Source and Km, needs all the exposure he can get so he can keep on making those deep Metalheadz tunes we all love Andy C for... oh wait...

Also.. I have also wondered why Metalheadz haven't booked the original crew like Doc Scott and Storm after all they did help set up and run the label in the early days.

DMZ already wrecked them. They obviously feel like they can't win playing their own material.. why even bother go up as metalheadz?
