Are you using the Dx command to move the hits off the grid, cos that might help make things sound a bit more natural?

Nah, but I thought of it. Maybe it'll work. But....

I synced the Amen to 96 lines at 8 lines per beat in 210 BPM. Basically, a sped up Amen at 210 BPM. I then edited the bounce to mono and maximized the volume of the break. I then cut the individual pieces of the Amen (kick kick snare hihat ghost hihat ghost.. etc) and tried to arrange that in the pattern and then speed up the BPM to 220. Shouldn't the Dx essentially be nullified when I speed it up anyway? And it doesn't sound better when sped up either. The major parts of the break sound fine, though.

I know it's fast, but I produce a lot of breakcore at 220 + bpm....

work w/ bigger chunks of audio (more than just a 16th note) when you're working with breaks.

this! if you just slice every individual hit and rearrange it completely then you'll of course lose the groove
