Thanks for the compliment. To answer your question, we took the Saw'n Off EP and gave all the artists a heads up in saying we wouldn't be releasing it. Z-audio shutting down played a part in this as they delayed its release for literally months and we didn't want to keep stringing all the artists along. I take being transparent and honest with our artists very seriously so I gave them all the option of taking their tunes back and trying to release it on another label, or if they wanted we'd keep it as an official Dubsaw release and release it as a free EP. I think it speaks a lot to the quality of artists we're bringing to the table and the fact it means something to be a part of a Dubsaw project that we got these contributions for this EP.

We go out of our way to work with blogs, websites, etc like squitty bubbler and make ourselves and our artists readily accessable. I saw that this busted unreleased ep could turn into a very solid free EP that every DJ and fan of our type of music would be interested in and it's worked out very well. I think in 2 days we're closing in on 2000 downloads and will likely end up with thousands more downloads when all is said and done.

We hope in the future we can give you guys some free bits here and there to thank you all for your support. Sometimes good will and the positive exposure outweighs mp3 sales.
