I'm not talking about what "resonates" with me just what I can listen to while trying to be productive.

Listen to the King Midas Sound track and do a simple maths problem at the same time, easier than doing it to average dubstep don't you think?

its not about "resonating" which is frequency specific, Its about the beat.
60 bpm would be the same as a resting heart rate.
it would help put your heart into that rhythm like.

I make dubstep at 120 alot!!!
the default setting in logic is 120... & i start making my riddims at that bpm before I remember to change it.
shit is usually alot more funky & jazzier at that rate & luckily it keeps that feel when ya speed it up!

if ya wana feel the effect of it more... make sure a sub is hitting every second, that way ya heart will align itself to it ay!

i've heard so many theories about how the tempo of certain music resonates with your heart/brain in particular ways in so many different scenes.

i reckon it's all psychosomatic, if a track resonates with you it's because it's good and you like it, sure you could find lots of examples of music at that tempo that have zero or the complete opposite effect on you.
