Mate, I did it last time around. Probably do it again, I got there pretty early (around 10ish) standing by myself chilling with a Red Stripe, people don't give no shit certainly when you're going to an event like this.

I did exactly the same last time, travelled from Liverpool. It was a mission getting back because it was a Sunday the day after. I was tired, wet (sweat) and still pretty pissed haha, had to wait for a coach to Manchester and from there eventually got a direct train back to the pool. I'm still considering it for next week, really wanting to book a cheap hotel so I can have a shower and sleep, then set off back home.

Make sure you write down a few of Leeds taxi services before setting off, try and order it just before the event finishes. Last time I ordered it when everyone was already outside and it was pure chaos! Bare people waiting for taxi's outside which lead to a lot of confusion.

Never miss it, been to every one since the beginning (bar 2). Always make the pilgrimage over th'ills from Manny and almost always on me tod. As a result though there's a massive fam I always see there and I generally get a lift or a travelling companion or 2 back, either that or go on somewhere. Going places on your own is the best way to meet like minded spirits.

I got Leeds taxi numbers already and can book for a train straight home afterwards...just don't fancy it on my tod but will have to see!! My lass decided again she was going to come but work has put her in for Sunday, so she can't make it. Reckon I'll just come on my own and you can all buy me a drink!

Woulda said fuck it and to come chill with me and my mates for the night but I can't raise the god damned funds to go now
