I learned so much from this tutorial. I had no idea dubstep was at 140 bpm ad that you place the snare on 5. sooo coooool thanks skrillex!

I will say, although the tutorial itself is pretty rubbish, I still am slightly amazed that people can actually functionally use renoise. I tried it once and all I could do was just stare at it. So +1 for just being able to use it.

after the initial "wtf is goin on here" it's actually far more comprehensible than a lot of daws (imo anyway).

a long while ago i messed around with a friend's copy of fl studio....lol i could not for the life of me tell what was going on with that shit, although some of the plug-ins were cool.

i don't really know shit about fl...all i know is it was easier to get my head around renoise than fl studio for some reason.

ive never seen renoise in action before but after the video it seems to make perfect sense
