I was talking to Andrew and he said they did go to school, but it wasn't even in Canada, it was in the states,
here.

yeah we went to the one in kelowna.
It's a recording engineering school and has nothing to do with producing music.
If you wanna learn how to record bands or record your own band, go for it. If you wanna make Dubstep, take all the money you would spend on tuition and use it to survive while you work 10 hours a day on your own with your computer and your monitors and teach yourself. The DOA "Grid" forum is a great resource and I'm sure the production forum here is too. Just stay out of the "how to make excision and datsik bass" bullshit and you'll be fine.
