Firstly, Hello to all
This is my first post on this forum
I registered because i saw this post and was intreaged to carry it on
I have been playing inside the bassline/4x4 scene now fro quite a while
and have played amongst the top names in the scene
I must admit, looking from an opposite view, many of the modern B-line/4x4 fans are not willing to listen to anything apart from 4x4 at the moment, especially dubstep but it seems that the people who mostly listen to dubstep, also like bassline as well
To be honest i'v liked dubstep for quite a while and have always played/produced it just for myself
To be honest now though a lot of the people who mix/produce bassline are quite happy to listen to dubstep
To be honest i can see dubstep slowley taking over the garage scene from all anglesand i can imagine that it will probably blow up throughout the course of 2007

virgo's older grime stuff is wicked.
i'll be honest- i think i'm prejudiced against the bassline stuff from what i've seen/heard of it in sheffield. you can't move for reflective all-nighters up here.

jesus, please just put all thought of niche music out of your head, if you thought jump up DnB was ringtone music, your wrong niche is the daddy.
That said there is a hilarious set of niche remixes which have been spawned becuase of this... the best one being a remix of california dreaming.
Also i think niche has shut down yet again.
all this said i did get that under the stars thing by el b, just cause its baaaad

Yeah, thanks for the uploads. I dled the Todd Edwards yesterday, and I'll get the oris jay one later.
Not really feeling the Locked On mix to be honest, it's pretty much what I expected. 99.9999% of the time i simply can't stand singing. I just can't deal with it. Quite like the actual beats, but I can't get past the diva nonsense. Bit of a shame really. This is why the love the original dubstep concept (ie dub mixes of 2step tunes) so much.

I like the Dj Narrowz stuff I have heard and I heard one Dj Q thing... I'll have to look for that ep. Alot of the stuff I have heard sounds like shite but there does seem to be some potential.
U mite wanna check out T2, makes some all good tunes, av never really been into it, too many plays by kids on mobiles, bare girls into it tho.

It's not what i'd describe as fantastic music but the time i went to Niche (at Club Vibe now) it was wicked - basically loud, with chemical helpers and people proper having it it sounds quality. Good summer afternoon up music too. Just bare energy. I agree it sounds very cartoony though.
