thats going to sound pants.
Behringer will degrade the signal... because lets face it, its the fisher price of audio gear.
Get a decent external interface and plug your monitors directly into it...

Mackie makes a mixboard called the Onyx, It's a mixer & interface in one unit. Very cool cuz it works well, has motorized faders (so you can save your levels), and it lowers the footprint on your desk as it is only one piece of gear. They are avalible in 4,8,&16 channel models. The only problem is they cost BIG $.

why do you think it's cheaper than most
simple rule of buying
good build
good sound
low price
pick 2 of the 3

Where would you guys recommend getting an interface checked? I have reason to believe my 2nd hand Audio 8 DJ is 'broken'.
I mean what kind of shop. I already contacted NI sevice but they wouldn't agree on me sending it to them.

Ok one last question, I'll pretty much just use the saffire 6 as a soundcard, I won't really be using the recording facilities as I produce everything "inside the box". Will usb 1.1 limit how many tracks I can create in ableton for example? Mainly midi tracks. Thanks
