Some good suggestions in here! Definitiely liking Late's stuff, i find my self listening to a lot of Burial and Synkro at this time of year too!

Ok, I too am really digging these sounds in the winter years. It's snowy, cold and deserted so these tunes, be it melodic (melancholic) or more sinister (like say Burial's Prayer) are perfect for this time.
Now I appreciate everyone's input, but I was hoping people could be a bit more specific. Obviously Burial, late and Synkro are good starting points but a whole lot of the names mentioned don't come close to that at all, so let's forget about that "future garage" label for a bit and focus more on vibes shall we. Can anyone recommend me more releases similar to these tracks (I hope I can narrow it down with these examples a bit).
So we're looking for melodic or haunting songs with a winterish vibe to them, preferably with some sort of vocal.

YES! this is what I meant, just figured future garage covered it, but it includes loads of other different sounding stuff too...

appreciating everyone's input, have a lot of work to do, but scowering slowly through all the tunes/artists suggested and really feeling some of it. VVV's stuff and Arkists stuff is great!

i think you'll find that he's finnish, not polish. anyway, excellent producer. stay tuned for his upcoming stuff, really blowing the roof off and varying from that "burial-esque" stuff he's known for.

future garage, i love it! some of my absolute favourite producers would go under that category. there's some really little-known gems that i find nobody's really talking about but which are utterly brilliant, for example the forementioned mutt f. illgates - tekdub 10". the b-side is also ridiculous.
i'm finding this a good place to advertise some of my own stuff, that i'd think could be called future garage.
