damn thats a nice one, but i've been feeling constrained lately by just 25 keys. I've recently been improving my keyboard skills instead of just mashing and hoping for a good synth line.

the akai mpk49 is what i got my eyes on

That because you're scaling back the DJing, or going fully digital?
Well basically "scaling back" is a huge overstatement, because I never really got into it. I bought the equipment and have used it occasionally, but not enough to justify the cost. I'm just going to do what I love which is produce, and I'm learning the guitar at the moment too. If I want to make a mix in the future I can get Ableton or something. Hopefully I won't have too much trouble selling it...

Glad I'm not the only one in the bought tables but barely used them club. I'm keeping my tables though, someday I might actually learn how to use them properly.

I need a bigger set of monitors, looking at the HS80's, I've been running with the KRK RP5's for a few years now. Could with the Sennheiser HD25's now I've got the MBP, so for them long commutes. Other than that, I fancy the Maschine, or possibly another MPC, the Novation SLMKII and last but not least, the Apogee Duet.

Thinking of selling one 1200. Set them up in a jerry rigged traktor set up to check it all out. Too jerry rigged to be useful for me. Must keep one, sampling off of vinyl is just stunningly amazing and fruitful and fun and just plain next level, last level, and the level in between.

Just purchased and am expecting in the mail an sp404sx. It's been a long time coming. I can't afford it, and I don't give a shit. I want to make beats while I'm shitting. While I'm on the couch. While I'm in the kitchen. While I'm in the car. While I'm getting coffee. I want to make crunchy beats all the muthafucking time.

I have just bought some Alesis Prolinear 720DSP monitors

Am trying to decide between the Focusrite Saffire 6 soundcard and the Lexicon Lambda... Anybody have any experience with these or an opinion/comparison? Will be buying in the next couple of days.. Perhaps even tomorrow

Thanks for the opinion bud.. I was definitely leaning toward the Saffire 6 in my head so I think you've just tipped the scales for me! :W:
