Cool!

in terms of dubstep, for me the less mixing the better. it´s all about the built up at the beginning.

I think it would be interesting music to mix on one of those old Redsound Infader mixers. 3 Crossfaders for treble, mids and bass
I'm quite tempted to pick one up 2nd hand just to mess around on.

Probably ebay nowadays. They came out around 2000 but kind of flopped, I suppose even if you became a master at using one when it came to playing out you couldnt just stop *all* the music at a club to wire one of those badboys in. Still, looks fun..

definitely depends on the tunes used and where you are in the mix; what kind of effect youre going for.

With Grime i'll chop the tune in, as the intro's normally quite short. Once the tunes have dropped together i normally leave for 16 bars before pulling one up. I'll EQ the low end on Dubstep so the frequencies don't clash but with grime it's normally the mids, as that's where most grime sounds r based.
Don't do much chopping with Dubstep

Slow blends - that go together both musicallly and in atmospherics
Much more into progressive DJ sets
Let the tunes play I say
...does depend on what tunes you're playing of course ... e.g. Juju - Punks
Is just begging to be cut in with another Bassline
