Thanks man.
EQ tutorial: http://www.dnbscene.com/article/88-thin ... q-tutorial

Bassline tips: http://www.dnbscene.com/article/351-tip ... etter-bass

The latter is geared towards drum and bass, and specifically the Jeskola Buzz sequencer but if you read it you'll see that a lot of the tips can be applied elsewhere too, even to dubstep :6:

My new year's resolution is to get the compression tutorial released before Easter.

Right, I need to stop drinking as right now all the animated smilies are moving in perfect rhythm to this tune I'm listening to :-o

i've dropped a post about this on my blog. how should i credit the original author? i wrote that the tut was written by Steve from dnbsound, but if he has a SoundCloud page or something, i'll gladly link to that.

Appreciate that, thanks. I don't know if Steve has an active website any more. Last time I spoke to him, he'd pretty much ducked out of the whole dnb music scene and all his old links don't work any more.

sick tutorial, really made sense with the whole box concept, i have always struggled to get full fatness in mixes and it helped visualising filling out a box along a good spread of frequency, pan and volume
