Now they have Psycho subs...
Yeah, I heard Mala, Loefah, Coki, Pinch, Peverelist, Doc Scott and Breakage play on the system since they brought in the psycho subs. It's fucking insane how much weight is behind it.
Subloaded at Motion? I was there too!
Unlike Valve... Dirt system has sounded so f-ing good in every venue I've heard it at! Testament to Bryan and the crew...

Heard DMZ on valve in Sheffield back in 2008. 3 hour set. Still one of the best sets i've ever seen

tbf the valve soundsystem ain't ever gonna sound as good as soundsystems in top clubs such as fabric etc cos they've been there since day and the engineers have got the sound nailed to be perfect for the room. whereas valve, the engineers have got about 10 hours max from when the speakers get to the venue to do soundchecks and get it sounding the best possible for the new surroundings so its never gonna reach its full potential until its permanently installed in a club

Funktion One sound systems in clubs always do it for me (Corsica Studios, Plastic People, Plan B). Don't think anyone could design and build better kit than those guys except Martin Audio (Matter soundsystem RIP) who are also just as good. Fabric also has a Martin Audio sound system but I HATE that club. Matter was infinitely better.

Noise Control Audio's rig is a massively under appreciated soundsystem.
They provided Channel One's sound at the last Red Bull Soundclash.

As a relative young'un who's only been able to start going to nights recently, I am jealous of you all.
For what I would give to get to DMZ, just to hear some of their tunes on a huge rig.

ye matter sound system was wicked. if you stood in the right place in the main room there was a lot of weight. Probably was slightly better than fabric, but i quite like fabric think the layout was designed better. Considering they built Matter from scratch and they had a shit load of space to play with I dont think they did a great job in the design- room 2 was just a weird long corridor, room one had the dj booth in a bit of a shit place too, plus in general didnt think the place had much character, which fabric does. Its a massive shame Matter has gone, but only for the line-ups which you now miss out on. Both funktion1's in PP and corsica are pretty sick, probably my two favourite clubs

I've heard Mala play on Mungo's rig too and I gotta say, it was HEAVY.
Mungo's rig is pretty legendary though isn't it? A lot of dubstep DJs have played on it.

funktion 1 from what ive heard at nights sounds the cleanest by far.
although i have yet to hear an iration or valve system due to being in the states.
also big ups to the purefilth crew. their soundsystem backs insane weight. i remember when jakes came down to LA for purefilth the first time. he set the fire alarms off twice if im not mistaken.
big ups sam xl on that!!!!

^^^^i was going to say!!!! my video from WIC.
big place in my heart for 3rd bass. there was something about that room, and the acoustics. most probably the fact that it was all brick walls, making it one big bass cave. i've heard valve (brixton, LDN), tubbys (carnival,LDN), stonelove(kingston, JA), abashanti (carnival,LDN), rampage(carnival,LDN), saxon (carnival,LDN) and iration is still on the top of my list.
everyone i've talked to says theres nothing like berghain, so i'm waiting for my chance to check it. the biggest funktion one install in europe.

word about Berghain. Dying to go, however dont want to make the trip just to get rejected, door policy is both harsh & unpredictable. this might be a good night to take your chance mate -

Gramps - Super Dub, Mungo's n Valve are the biggest I've played on and the winner would have to be either gramps or Mungos! Thing is the Mungos system wasnt even breaking a sweat and my eyes were shaking... Gramps in Concorde 2 in Brighton used to have plaster falling form the roof n chairs dancing from 30FT away!
You want to hear good soundsystems? get to the carnival..... World class systems! Streets where the air moves up and down really is something else!

def funktion one soundsystem i prefer, cause thats the one u gonna hear the most.., gonna hear coki at corsica studios this weekend and i think thats gonna be a funktion one again?
and offcourse Mungo's Hifi Soundsystem, everyone that headed too Outlook can confirm that this was one body-moving soundsystem, never heard something like that.. and it was even in open air, i think that does alot too?

Na best night for soundsytems is university of dub, it's aba shan't I's monthly night
At scala. It's him and two guest systems from all over spinning only the finest dubs, bassweight is
Unbelievable.
But yeah back to topic I still think it'd be sick if they got their own system, it's what makes the dub scene and it just seems like it's the only thing that could possibly make dmz better.
