yes, it was nice in keeping the perspective part.

but it was QUITE the ass pounding ego rape. i know that my tunes now are already much better than one of the tunes i put up but DAMN that was harsh *tear*

Yeh - this was another thing I wanted to avoid - nothing knows the sound more than the label itself, right? Would be awfully embarrassing to be told "tunes are decent but not our thing" - but then of course this puts us back at square 1, trying to get labels to hear the product in the first place!

heh i've had on more than occasion people not be able to take blunt critique and been told to fuck off my tunes are shit anyways, my friends like this etc by some random peeps hitting me up for some reason if they hate my stuff that much

It did let me on to the Idea that my music all has an unfinished feeling to it that I should finish it to fix... I was just saying it's a bad place to go if you're prone to giving up at a glare.
