Back to the mention of soundtracks, I met up with Joni last night and that's exactly what he said; that your tunes sound like they could be part of so many brilliant soundtracks

I think you should get on the case of that man - Try get some jobs for making the soundtracks for really dark, sparce independent UK films

Scoring something worthwhile is still very much an ambition, but I'm not really interested in doing it for naff independent films. It's a lot of effort, and I'm not all that good at taking direction - so it'd have to be worth my while basically! Would be great to feature on more soundtracks though. Plus I'm actually working on a couple of scripts at the moment in my spare time - so you never know, when Hollywood want to buy them for millions perhaps I can insist on scoring them

Not all independent films are naff!

hehe ^_^
But that's ace that it's an ambition man

I think you'd be brilliant at it! But I can totally appreciate how difficult it would be - having to first get the vibe of the scene, then the timing of the action, having to deal with the people who say "no that's not right, it should be like this" etc.
This is why I said Independent films, I'm fairly sure they'd allow a great deal more creative freedom than Hollywood
Still... I'd produce a Donk Soundtrack for Hollywood if the money was good

My girlfriend's an actress, so I've seen my share of independent films. A few really good ones, countless dreadful ones. Would love to score an indie gem though, don't get me wrong!

Thanks to everyone who's been playing it - Cal Cutta, Probert, ReturnTrip, Johney....
It will be released on the next Methodology compilation (METHOD11 - out 7th March).
