OP, Dude a house party is not a rave, by any standard, no matter how off the hook it gets, its still, a house party.
I apologise, I'm very loose with my lingo, I refer to any crazy electronic party as a rave, it will probably get me into trouble one day. I've actually read through that post you were talking about, I went through most of the stuff here on raves before asking my question here, because we want to find cheaper alternatives. Most of the people we will be inviting are in their 20s, I'm a New Zealander and we're all into our dubstep and drum n bass here. Before anyone asks, Mt. Eden songs aren't exactly good for dancing and tripping out to.
