Honestly, I don't think you really can get rid of the "Edge" of dubstep. That's what makes it dubstep in part (Beside the obvious of course). So if it were to be commercialized I think it'll stay the way it is.

Yeah R1 play a fair amount of crap during the day and early evening. But late night there are some great shows that play proper music and represent what most of us on here deem "good dubstep".

Pirate stations are always better than Radio 1; there's only so much I can here of a single tune before it gets annoying even if it's good.
