I used 95% vinyl but mixed a couple of CDs as i didnt have time to get all of my dubs cut. And yeah that was me but im afraid there was no 3 decking this time as there was only 2 turntables, i considered trying with a CDJ but by that time i had already played all my CDs!

Yeah, mate you were on top form there and on that 3 deck mix--hard to go wrong with that kind of selection and I only listened in on the gd site as I was writing, I don't like looking at the video feed, but it seemed well received, yeah?

I tried playing Beyond with a slower RPM on my Technics a while ago and the slider is way too sensitive to time it exactly right, and the ideal lead-in (is that the right term?) is around 41 seconds, anything longer and it ruins the absolutely immense build up which I love on that track (I voted it best track of 2010). Its not a DJ technics so I had to wait for the auto pull up, but I think that is right... I got goosebumps like the first time I heard it.

kno dat mate. distance demonstrating some serious musical talent to a pretty much orchestral level on this one. Voted best track also, apparently missed out on nominations by 1 vote which is a crying shame...
