Intros are not always necessary. Its no different to any sort of musical variation within a track. Just remove a few of the main elements, bam and intro. If you cant handle that than for sure work on your musicality as someone else said.
Burial says he does not like intros, becuse the rest of then song is then just the rest of the song...
