Does anyone know where I can find the original "Shlomoshun EP"?
It was originally released as a free download, but Shlohmo's mediafire links are down, and he's quite blatantly ignored me on facebook xD

I love Baths but as a drummer, some of this super wonky shit annoys the absolute piss out of me.

The thing I actually like most about artists like Shlohmo isn't the percussion, although, it is lovely, it's more the piano writing, there's all these big splashy hits of notes, that seem almost unco-ordinated, kinda like tone clusters in atonal music, but consonant and pretty.

What d'you lot think about his style, I like the way some of his beats are kinda 'deformed'? With no quantization at all. And the kinds of samples etc, those really get me. Kinda like hearing burial for the first time, except rather clean productions if you get me?
If you've not heard of him, here are two of my favourite tunes by him:
Ghosts (part 1)
Ghosts (part 2)
Main reason I've done this, I'm wondering, how would you guys go about making tunes that sounded like this? Not like a guide, but just your thoughts, as producers, about his style etc, and of any other members of the "WeDitItCollective" or FriendsOfFriends output.

This Tears for fears remix at track 1 is just sublime, pure sublime, beatiful.
I can`t get enough of it.
Plus Groundislava track sounds alot like Telafon Telaviv.
Great stuff
I must be honest, I`m not feeling the r&B ish stuff but all on the dubbed out three 6 mafia hip hop orientated tunes.
Love the dub cassette.

I`ve just been listening to bad vibes for the first time and well, what is there to say.
It`s great, dripping in atmosphere.
Just warm, sunny, melancholic vibes.
I love how he washes things in white noise.
It`s just perfect laid back listening music.
Awesome at work.

Anyone else love one of his oldertunes called "Tomato Smash"? That shit slams so hard! real eyes down head banging business
Birthday beat too. Slightly less gritty, still so much power to it imo.
