The difference is it's not illegal to brew beer, cider and make wine.

That's why it's nit going to get locked

It's illegal to brew/distill alchohol Alabama. Shall we lock it because it's illegal SOMEWHERE? There are places where cannabis is illegal too, is it illegal everywhere? HELL NO. I know the mods aren't going to unlock our thread but are you gonna lock this one JUST IN CASE someone from alabama sees it?

Almost everything is illegal somewhere in the world though so why worry about it. I would like the growers thread to open back up too.

I'm not defending the choice to lock that thread. I'm just saying everyone who thinks this one should be locked just cause that one was can fuck off.

I thought the point of this thread being made was to see if it would get locked like the growers place thread.

We are all used to double standards being applied across all our borders, do we expect the NFO to act differently?

Haha I wouldnt waste my time just to see if I could break the rules and if I recall this was made while the growers thread was still up so hop off. The point of the thread is what I said it was, to share peoples brewing experiences.

I'll share my brewing experiences, cause though I'm against the double standard I am DEFINITELY pro-brewing :W:

My friends and I used to brew a lot of beer using www.mrbeer.com and we came up with some DELICIOUS stuff. It takes a bit of practice to get into the hang of it but like 2 or 3 batches in we were making beer that was much better than the stuff we were buying in the stores (or at least most of the relatively cheaper stuff). It's really fun, rewarding, and you feel like a fuckin boss handing someone a beer that you brewed yourself. My dad used to brew a lot when I was a lot younger but he didn't use any kits like that, he just used fuckin tubes and big ass glass jugs and... I don't even know what half of it's called  but brewing your own beer is awesome. Watch out though! It's easy to make beer that's a LOT stronger than normal beers, and we would often find the hangovers could be way worse if you just drank a bunch of homebrews because of the amount of sugar used. Good Luck to anyone trying it, and to those who aren't, why not?
